Take All The Time You Need!

When you are going through a hard patch or a dark time in your life. It’s easy for people to tell you, just to let it go and move on. But they are not the ones who are in pain. They are not the ones who experienced what you have gone through. They are not the ones who lie in the dark at night feeling your pain so how can someone tell you to just let it go? How can someone give you advice when they are not able to apply it to their life? How can a fat or skinny person tell you how to lose or gain weight? Oh, because they educated themselves by reading  books, or got a college degree in dietetics and now they are qualified?  Can someone smoke crack and not be called a crackhead? These weirdo metaphors can go over people heads! Someone can argue that this is a negative perspective but really is it? Does pain mean that some how you are negative because you have emotions that are not jolly.  Does it mean that you can not be honest with yourself about what you are truly feeling? You don’t have to lie to yourself. People built their lives off of lies still have to look in the mirror every day and face the truth. What is your truth now in this present moment? Did someone else give you your truth? Are you happy? Are you living in your purpose? Does the life you created have meaning? They say, “You have to let it go, you must forgive and not hold on to pain.” But does that make the pain really go away? Or does it just make life easier? Either way it’s your choice. You have the choice to move forward, or be stuck. You have the choice to hold on to pain or free yourself from it. The choices that we make can be difficult or it can go smooth. Is it all just a matter of perspective or programming? We have to reprogram what no longer works. If pain, sadness, darkness, grief and even depression no longer works. Then what will work or should work? We are not met to suffer for a lifetime. Just like the seasons, we are destine for change. Change may not be easy but it’s not all bad. In fact change can be good. I love living life. I made the choice to free myself from pain. I started to work through it until, I was where I needed to be. The road is not easy but it’s definitely a clear passage.

Do you want to start this process of moving away from your pain? Get a piece of paper, a journal, a composition notebook or whatever you can write on. Answer these five questions.

What are you currently thinking?

How are you currently feeling?

If you can do or be anything what will it be?

What do you feel are your current limitations?

Who do you think is responsible for this? Please be detailed. Really share your story. Go to the beginning.

Go to an open space outside or in nature such as a park with trees. If you can not, sit by an open window in your home, read it out loud to yourself.

Rip it up and then release it by throwing it in the trash outside your home. Just let it go and  breath.

Take all the time you need!
